In Feb. 23, 2022, a research achievement (work) Prediction technology and crucial control device of sand production for different types of oil-gas reservoir and its application, led by Professor Dong Changyin, has passed expert evaluation organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. The expert evaluation committee, led by Academician Li Yang from Chinese Academy of Engineering, includes the experts from China Petroleum Chemical Corp., China National Offshore Oil Corp., China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Beijing University of Science and Technology, Sinopec petroleum engineering Technology Research Institute and China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute. The committee has agreed that overall work is at the high level in international scale, the sand prediction technology based on microscopic sand production mechanism has reached the leading level.
